Snake identification

I found this small snake in my home in south Louisiana. I've also found one like this swimming in my pool. They are slender, probably juveniles, with the thickest parts being no larger than the diameter of a pencil. What type is it?

This is a Brownsnake (Storeria dekayi). This is an adult. They are small, harmless insect eaters.

These are really common in the lowcountry, judging by my experience with them. They are very good tree climbers, by the way! It's a little unnerving seeing one 'scale' a loblolly pine or a big live oak.

It looks like one of the several tree vipers in SE Asia of the genus Trimeresurus. I am not familiar with the differnt species and subspecies. It could be a color variant of T. wagleri (Wagler's Pit Viper or Temple Viper).
