Full StoryI have seen several of these around my Nashville home in the past mo. This snake is different than the chicken snakes on the farm as a youth. I do not have a photo except the snake appears identical to this photo of a texas rat snake -especially the snake on the window http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.texassnakes.net/unwelcomevistor.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.texassnakes.net/TexasRat.htm&h=388&w=460&sz=171&tbnid=dOhGbkhwQfY4AM:&tbnh=108&tbnw=128&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dtexas%2Brat%2Bsnake%26um%3D1&start=3&sa=X&oi=images&ct=image&cd=3.
See photo. The largest of the three snakes was nearly 5 feet though fairly thin. We have lots of chipmunks and field mice and brush and woods.
Is the Texas rat snake new to Nashville and mid TN or has it been released by a pet owner and reproducing. Thanks Roger rogjack6112@comcast.net email me please.
