I constructed a garden pond over 30 years ago and every year since then hundreds of frogs have gathered and spawned in the spring usually by the first week of March.
To date this year there are no signs of the frogs in the pond. Having been such a mild winter I would have expected the frogs to return to spawn before now.
Is anyone else having the same experience and can anyone give any reason or explanation for this?
