I've been there twice, the last time several years ago. Your views appear to have been shot from the "Trail Ridge Road". Another spot I recommend for photographs is the Maroon Bells. Its only one scene, but it's a gorgeous calendar type.

Hi all,

A little bit late to the party here, but here’s a different perspective of RMNP, taken March 5, 2006.

America the Beautiful, indeed!

Alberta Falls is a great, easy hike in the Park, and the Alluvial Fan is a really interesting thing to see, created when an Ice Age lake broke loose and came roaring down the mountains in 1982.

I love our National Parks,
Skybird

No matter where you go in any mountains the view is wonderful and each has their own spirit or feelings. The eastern mountains have a in the woods feeling along with the beautiful views. They may not be as tall but all have their own beauty and peace that seems to come with any journey or visit there. When we lived in Colorado there were weekends we went up the mountains just to get out of the heat of the summer and still get snow in July and August. Thank you for the memories.
