Great finds and there is nothing like "retail therapy" to feel better ! ;-D You will have so much fun with those treasures. Such a creative idea with the ashtrays, I'd never have thot of that and there are usually so many in thrift stores. Reminds me of when I first started thrifting and I shopped very often and bot so many things. Such a novelty and sooo fun. Now I have to restrain myself as I have so many things, no more storage space, and no point in buying duplicates, at least not too many! Wish I had more things I liked less so I could give them up and buy more!

Ok so on the Hippoottoman...it's been discontinued, but may go back into production in may (there seems to be some disagreement between reps on this). It's normal price is $1369 but the sales price currently is 969.99..oh and she recommends a..dang what did she call it....oh shoot I forgot it was funny...some BS term for a damage insurance on the wood. I do like the idea of the animals silouettes in black - however she did not: "Big blocks are fine with me...The other one down below with the mix of fabrics is cool to but I don't want animals in it just the sexy prints...... Am I making sense.." I guess I should be happy that she knows exactly what she wants! :) I did find a leopard print that was black on black - that got me thinking about a sash (again) in that... I'm really feeling uninspired. I'll just keep collecting fabric and see what I come up with. Appreciate everyone's thoughts and trying to give me inspiration (which you did, but unfortunately it's not what she's looking for). I'll keep you posted... I'm making good progress on the bargello - I just had to try it!!!! I'll post pics. Thanks!

Bad girl!!! I suspected you were pranking us!! Would you suggest I present this one to elementary school kids and ask them to find the animal? Nah, I don't think I will!! LOL! I enjoyed the shot though, Kat. Reminds me of when I visited my sister in Washington. She lived near Joyce, west of Port Angeles. I was impressed with the thick, lush vegetation as well as the giant slugs. Thanks for the chuckle.
