Winter care for tiger moth caterpillars?

Hello! I've been able to find a lot of information on how to care for the typical wooly bear/isabella tiger moth caterpillars over the winter. One guide had a tutorial for sealing them in a container and keeping them chilled in the fridge. However, I also have two other species of tiger moth caters: a pure orange with a light orange head which I think may be the Virginia tiger moth and a mostly black one with faint orange tufts along the bottom which may be the black fuzzy caterpillar. Does anyone know if these can be cared for in the same way as the black and orange wooly bear?

I do not know, but it would be reasonable to treat caterpillars from the same family and locale in the same manner for overwintering.

Izzyx, visit the Butterfly Gardening forum with your question. There are some people over there who raise moths and butterflies, sometimes successfully.
