By copying and playing around with your image, I see now that there is dark drapery at the top. The white wall blemishes are mostly vertical but with considerable wiggle and one line even doubles back on itself for a short distance.

Getting warm enough now that ants would have been obvious.

Birds hanging around could indicate the presence of insects, or the birds could simply be looking at their reflection.

Is the wall painted drywall (gypsum) or is it wood?

And I would associate your term "mud tubes" more with certain flies, bees, or wasps rather than termites.

The image doesn't seem like any of the mud tubes from termites that I've seen. What does the wall look like from the outside?

Inside, it looks like water damage from the pictures. But it could be that the picture isn't ideal. Can you 'feel ' that they are mud tubes and not just water stains?

The OP is not responding. When I enhanced the photo, there was no relief to the wall tracks, there would be nothing to feel.

It was curious that one track went uphill for an inch--perhaps water under pressure hit a hard spot and went back uphill briefly.
