Protect Fleglings

My female Bluebird is incubating now-4 eggs. The nest is protected from predators now, but I worry about when the babies leave the nest. There are feral cats around and I am wondering is there anything I can do to prevent attacks until they are able to fly well?

Usually when the babies leave the nest, they can fly. If you see one that came out of the box and couldn't fly, pick it up and put it in a tree. They should be ok. I worry about the parents and babies when they land on the ground to pick up bugs. Not much you can do other than shooting the cats. I have 4 cats, all dump offs and all indoor cats. I feel for ya, I have stray cats all over the place. I can't stand irresponsible pet owners! Good luck :)
