Female house finch?

I am thinking that is right--this feeder is to attract Goldfinch, my favorite bird.

I had a whole family that moved into the neighborhood this spring, I have never seen this breed before, of course it is my first year birding. The first one was a male, thought it was a sparrow with red paint on his head. The picture is the only one I have of the male and the female together.

Started with papa and two females, from then to now is quit a change, the female had two more female and a new male, they have had a second brood or a new family has moved in?
