Cedar Waxwings.........

We get them occassionally in the yard, more often in the woods later in Summer when the berries are out. This pair stopped at a tree next to our deck on Saturday and posed for awhile. One of them kept calling, not sure if they had fledglings around, I didn't see any but you never know.

Great capture!I have had as many as a dozen around my pond. One pair is nesting somewhere near here but I haven't found where. I don't think they are in the tree they used last year.
We have been planting berries for the last few years and they are becoming regulars. Before that they were a rare sight for me.Way cool birds!

Very pretty photo, it looks kind of like a painting! I see small flocks of Waxwings once the Crabapples are ripe in the fall.

That's sensational!

Wonderful photo!! I love these birds and the bohemians. I have planted so many "berry" shrubs this year in the hopes that they will continue to visit here. I also have a pond but I have never seen them near it.
Thanks for sharing this...really great shot!
