I noticed a similar bird in the background that has very black legs. Is that how you made the distinction? I'm sure there were other marks that you looked at. It is a beautiful bird and your pictures are wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

The smaller bird with black legs is a Great Egret, but the white morph of the Great Blue Heron has yellow beak and legs
