| Nice shot of a nice looking bird Bob! Gambel's Quail, right? I wish I got to see Quail here. |

| This one is a California Quail which looks very much like Gambel's Quail. Until a few years ago I used to see coveys of them in the neighborhood but I'm afraid that feral cats (and other factors) have made them scarce in this area. |
