| Hi, I was doing a little bird-watching the other day out in the Crabapples while they were in bloom. The birds love these trees! There was a small flock of Red-winged Blackbirds, and this Warbler bird flitting about the flowers and eating something. Not sure what?
I think this is a Yellow-rumped, but not really sure. Can anyone id? It doesn't look like it has a yellow rump to me, but I couldn't get very close pics.

| Yes, Yellow-rumped Warbler. Nice photos too. BN |

| Thanks BN. I can't believe I spelled "warbler" wrong in the title! Anyway, does anyone have any idea what the birds would be eating? I was thinking either little caterpillars, which lots of the Crabs and other native woody plants seem to have in the growth tips this year; or maybe drinking the nectar in the blooms. |
