Cricket ID

DanLovesCrowz22July 25, 2014

I know I know, it's not the best picture. I am in Middle East, England and I found hundreds of these crickets in the long and short grass. Yes, it's not the best picture but maybe you could. ID this cricket??

Looks more like a grasshopper than a cricket. There are many different kinds of grasshoppers in the UK, your picture isn't very good for id purposes.

Yep, too many English grasshoppers to choose from.

We could determine the insect type (Order and sometimes family) in all your photos, but they were not large enough in the images for identifying details to show up. You may need to be a little sneakier next time and get closer. Move slowly and avoid casting a sudden shadow on your insect subjects.
