Living in the city, marsh birds are not my forte. This guy has been hanging around my yard for about a week. Staying in the underbrush, picking bugs out of walnut husks, it runs into hiding instead of flying. Large(ish) legs for it's size and very long toes and about 8 or so inches in length. If anyone can verify the id I'd appreciate it.
